DATA ARCHIVER is a high-capacity storage library device employing optical discs.
The number of magazines stored in the unit can be increased by adding the extension modules.
It supports to write/read to 1.2TB magazine and 3.6TB magazine.
76 magazines can be mounted on each module. 1.2TB magazine and 3.6TB magazine can be mounted in a mixed manner.
If 1.2TB magazines are filled into 1 module, the capacity is 91.2TB (Unformatted/RAID 0). And if 3.6TB, the capacity is 273.6TB (Unformatted/RAID 0).
The read/write speed to 3.6TB magazine is max.432MB/s, avg.360MB/s (RAID0) by using the 6 drives (depends on the condition (e.g. application or server)).
The maximum read/write speed to 1.2TB magazine is 216 MB/sec (RAID 0) by using 12 drives (depends on the condition (e.g. server)). In case of only 6 drives, can read data, but cannot write data. However, after all data is retrieved from 6 discs of the magazine to HDD and another 6 discs are mounted to drives, user can read the data with the data of HDD. Therefore, user should wait time (around 90mins) to copy all data from 6 disc to HDD.
